Dogs live in the moment with pure, unguarded joy - with every photography session, Jo strives to capture those moments. It’s more than just their appearance; it’s their unique personality, that curious head tilt, the way their eyes light up when they see you, the wagging tail, the gentle grey muzzle that tells the story of years spent loving you, the zoomies, when they’re living their best life!

While we can't slow down time, we can hold onto these precious glimpses of their spirit - portraits that will comfort you long after their paws no longer echo through your home, reminding you of the extraordinary love that ordinary days were built upon.

Jo photographs all dogs - from perfectly trained to delightfully naughty, reactive rescues to those who need to stay on lead. She's worked with blind, deaf, and challenging dogs who think rules are optional.   • My portfolio showcases photos of dogs at different stages of training and obedience. While some animals needed leads or their owners nearby during the portrait session, these details are not visible in the final images. You can trust that I’m equipped to handle any challenge—please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

    I'm committed to making every session a smooth and stress-free experience, no matter the obstacle. In fact, the more challenging the situation, the more rewarding it is! Seeing the joy on the faces of clients who thought they’d never be able to have a portrait taken of their treasured family member(s) is exactly why I do what I do.

  • Absolutely. Jo frequently works with animals exhibiting these behaviours, so there’s no need to worry. She volunteers at an animal rescue and is experienced in photographing anxious or reactive animals. Jo will take the time to assess the needs of the animal and adapt her approach to ensure their comfort throughout the session.

  • Absolutely! If there’s a particular location that holds special meaning for you, I’d be more than happy to photograph there.

    If you're unsure about which location you would like to use for your session, I have a range of beautiful spots I regularly use, including woodland, beach and urban settings.

  • This is obviously quite a common occurrence in the UK!! So, if it’s raining, we will reschedule to a mutually agreeable day and time.

  • I fully appreciate that the cost of living is tough right now, so I have deliberately kept my Session Fee as low as possible. I want you to be able to purchase the wall art that you truly love. £95 will secure your booking and you can even use £50 of that investment to put toward your wall art.

    From the outset, you'll receive clear and transparent pricing for your custom artwork. Product guides are available upon request before you book your session.

    Most clients typically invest between £600 and £2000. However, there is no minimum and never any pressure to purchase. I want you to be happy with whatever you purchase, whether you spend £50 or £5000.

  • Absolutely Yes! Whilst most of my amazing clients prefer not to be in their portraits, I love capturing the bond between animals and the people who love them!

    Others prefer not to have their portraits shared publicly and I always respect this. I will never feature family portraits on my website without the explicit permission from ALL involved.

  • No, I don't. While it's true that the majority of my photography sessions feature dogs, I love to work with all kinds of animals and their owners. I have numerous cat portraits on my Portfolio page and would love to capture other pets as well!

  • I would absolutely love to photograph horses, and is something I’ll be actively pursuing in 2025.
