    Step 3- PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

This may be a single portrait session with your pet, or an entire process taking months to complete, resulting in all of the elements needed to finish the concept identified in your initial consultation.

Jo will then lightly retouch the images, such as removing leads & collars and prepare them for the Portrait Reveal Session at Step 4. She often chooses one image which she takes through her full retouching process to give you an idea of what to expect from the portraits you subsequently choose.

Step 4- VIEWING & ORDER SESSION

We will reconvene in person or virtually, where Jo will reveal your portraits. Often this is the first time you will have seen the elements captured in Step 3.

You will have the opportunity to choose your favourite portraits and place your order.

Jo will then spend many days carefully working on every inch of the portraits to create something truly iconic and ready to present to you at the final stage- Step 5.

dog photography session framed photographs with happy client

This is what Gemma had to say after her photography experience:

“Joanna photographed my 2 dogs (at the same time). She is so friendly, patient and good-natured.

My dogs (both rescues) can be hard around other dogs and scared of other humans, but Joanna had them both posed beautifully and was so gentle they really warmed to the session and myself being there the whole time too, they were both so happy. You can see it in the photos.

The session was well organised, Joanna sees the potential in the surroundings and the dog’s most comfortable stances and goes from there.

The photos are stunning and EVERYONE comments on them when they enter the house, as well as seeing the dogs!”
