Something About…
Some of my favourite photographs were never planned.
They’re the result of a chance encounter. A dog crosses my path, and there’s just… something about them.
It might be the way they carry themselves. The way they watch the world. A quirky habit that makes me smile. Or a look that hints at the wonderful personality behind those eyes.
I can’t always explain what catches my attention, but I know it when I see it.
When that happens, I’ll often ask if I can take a quick photograph and write a few words about the little thing that made me stop. These images aren’t about perfectly crafted portraits or elaborate editing. They’re simply about capturing a fleeting moment and the personality that made me pause.
Every dog in this collection has their own story. Not a long one. Just a simple observation that celebrates the little things their family knows and loves.
