DOGS LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME- MY VOLUNTARY WORK WITH THE RSPCA MOUNT NODDY, CHICHESTER, WEST SUSSEX
There are few things more rewarding than using your skills to help those who truly need it. I’m incredibly honoured to volunteer my time and photography to capture the beautiful, hopeful faces of the dogs currently living at Mount Noddy Animal Centre.
Many of these dogs have come from heartbreaking situations—some neglected, others abandoned—yet every single one of them still holds on to a spark of love, trust, and the hope of finding a forever home.
Each dog I meet has their own unique story, their own gentle spirit, and their own way of showing resilience. Through my lens, I aim to show not just what they look like—but who they are. Because sometimes, the right photograph can be the moment that changes everything for a dog waiting to be noticed.
If you’re considering adopting or fostering, please take a moment to look through the faces in this blog. You can click the link further down or visit the Mount Noddy website directly to find out more. You might just meet your new best friend.

Oliver, the most charming goofball!
This 1-year-old whippet-lurcher mix has had a rough start in life, found as a stray with scrapes and scars that tell a story he’d rather forget. But despite it all, Oliver’s heart is wide open—ready to love and be loved.
This shy but sweet boy is looking for patient adopters who love training and can help him explore the world one paw at a time.
With tasty treats, he’s a fast learner—and with the right family, he’s going to be the most loyal and loving companion.
Could Oliver be your new best friend? If you’re interested in adopting him, reach out to the RSPCA Mount Noddy. I’ll put the website link, address and contact number in the comments.
And if you can’t adopt, please share—every share gets him one step closer to home.

Shiloh’s story is one you won’t forget.
For four years, she lived shut away in a shed—starved of food, love, and human connection. When she arrived at the centre, she was heartbreakingly thin, a fragile shadow of the dog she was meant to be.
But her spirit wasn’t broken. Shiloh has now started to blossom at Mount Noddy. With a small, consistent team of handlers, she’s learning the world can be kind. She’s smart, eager to learn, and has made incredible progress—mastering tricks, walking beautifully on lead, and settling into crate training.
Each day, she reveals more of her sweet, cheeky nature. She loves cuddles, neck scratches, and will work happily for a tasty treat.
Shiloh needs a calm home with patient parents full of love. She doesn’t need perfect—just someone willing to be there as she continues to grow and heal.
Could you be the one? If Shiloh isn’t the right fit, please share her story. The more people who hear about her, the closer she gets to the home she truly deserves.

Meet Luna – A Spirited 4-year-old Shar Pei
Lovely Luna came to Mount Noddy after her owner’s circumstances sadly changed. Since arriving, she’s shown what a joyful, playful, and curious girl she is. Luna is happiest exploring—nose down, tail wagging, soaking in every scent and sound.
She adores her toys and often brings one over when she’s ready for a game! If you're after a loyal, fun-loving companion, Luna might just be your perfect match.
Luna has a few allergies, so she'll need someone who can keep an eye on her diet. Luckily, she’s a foodie and very treat-motivated, making training a breeze!
She’d prefer to be the only dog and would thrive in a calm area with peaceful walks. Though strong on the lead, she’s making great progress with her loose lead walking.
Now all Luna needs is someone to share her next chapter. Could that someone be you?
